Being asked to paint a commissioned piece is the ultimate compliment. Working with someone to develop an original piece of art just for them is a very personal and thoughtful process. When I work with a client on a commissioned painting, we start by looking through some of my past work to determine what elements of my style they are drawn toward, which gives me direction and inspiration for the project. Next, we look at all the specific details the client needs for this piece (the fun stuff!) - size, orientation (landscape or portrait), color palette, etc. Then I start painting!

Once I feel the piece is complete I will email pictures of the finished piece to the client for their approval.
